About IdentityBastion
Independent VPN & identity theft protection reviews, built on real testing, not sponsorships
WHO WE ARE
Why I Started IdentityBastion
A few years ago, I realized how confusing it is to find
honest security reviews. Most sites just copy spec sheets
or push whatever pays the highest commission. I knew
there had to be a better way.
IdentityBastion was built on a simple rule: if I haven't
personally installed it, tested it, and used it myself,
it doesn't get recommended here.
I'm not a cybersecurity corporation. I'm a
privacy-focused researcher who spends weeks testing VPNs,
running DNS leak checks, comparing identity theft
monitoring alerts, and documenting everything with real
screenshots. My goal is to give you clear, unbiased
answers so you can protect yourself without wasting money.- Every product is personally tested on real devices
- Real speed tests, leak checks, and screenshots, no fluff
- Zero sponsored reviews. Ever.
- Zero sponsored reviews. Ever.
MY NAME
Founder and Researcher, IdentityBastion
How We Test Every Product
We don’t just read spec sheets. Every VPN and identity theft service goes through the same hands-on process
Research & Setup
We sign up anonymously, install on real devices (Windows, Android, iOS), and test default settings exactly as a new user would
Honest Evaluation
We score pricing, ease of use, security, and support. If a product isn't worth your money, we say so clearly
Real-World Testing
Speed tests, DNS/WebRTC leak checks, streaming trials, and monitoring alerts, all documented with timestamps and screenshots
How IdentityBastion Makes Money
IdentityBastion is free to read because we use affiliate links. When you click a link to a VPN or identity theft service and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
This is how we keep the site running, fund new product tests, and keep every guide completely free.
We only join affiliate programs for products we’ve already tested and believe in. If a service doesn’t meet our standards, we will not recommend it, even if it pays the highest commission.
💡 Our promise: Affiliate commissions never influence our ratings, scores, or recommendations. Transparency and your trust come first.
